The dirt road getting there was horrible. I was so worried about the damage it was doing to my car that I swore I'd never go back. I need an alignment now. We went to the Halloween event they had at night. It was too dark to see any animals. They do have a few tigers (maybe even a white one), a bear, a panther, maybe a fox, and many more animals squeezed into a small space. I would love to see the animals in the day but not if I have to drive to get there.
Inhumane conditions - cages are SMALL. Poor cats needs more space. Sad to see animals living in such small spaces when they are meant to roam. Wild Animal Park is much better. I wouldn't go back or take my kids until they improve the living conditions for the bigger animals.
Staff members are very nice an knowledgeable of all the animals. When you first get there..if it's your first time...you have to drive about 1-1/2 miles down a long dirt path...seems weird, but im glade we keep going! Awesome place.
This place is fun. We came for the summer family day. My kids fed the monkeys. Lots and lots of different animals, very interesting. You can get pretty close to them. I just wish the bigger animals had more area to roam. The enclosures are too small.
Really people, a sanctuary?? This place is deplorable. I want to say the folks mean well but considering the money donated, admission prices and all volunteer work that is done here, these creatures would have much better habitats. These animals are in much too small enclosures and to be quite honest looked pathetic. I am really quite surprised that they pass on safety inspections. Considering this "sanctuary" is in the midst of populated homes and neighborhoods, the enclosures, as well as perimeter fencing, should be more secure. Knowing people who live in this area, there is much more going on that meets the eye here and it's not as good as ya'll think it is. Forever Wild please contact true sanctuaries to do this right, please!
